Update 

The Amber Alert for a 9-year-old North Carolina girl has been canceled, according to the North Carolina Center for Missing Persons. No additional information is available at this time.

North Carolina authorities have issued an Amber Alert for  9-year-old Kinzley Paige Hooper who disappeared in Asheboro.

Kinzley is believed to be with 60-year-old Darrell Milton Boyd Jr in a tan 2003 Buick Rendezvous with North Carolina tag number TKL3081, WGHP reported. The vehicle also has a large cancer stick on the back window.

Kinzley is described as about 4 feet tall and 80 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a black shirt with a cow on it and blue jean shorts.

Boyd is described as 6 feet 1 inch tall and 210 pounds with short gray/brown hair and hazel eyes. He has a tattoo of a bulldog on his back and another of a dagger on his left arm.

Investigators are unclear where they may have gone but believe they could be in the Stokes County area.

Police have not provided images of the little girl or Boyd.
