An Indiana woman is facing murder charges after her 1-year-old daughter and 3-year-old son were found dead in a home on Tuesday.
According to WXIN, local police contacted Indiana State Police after the two children were found dead at a home in Mitchell. It is unclear whether Brittany Medina, 33, resided at that home with her children, but she has been charged with their murders.
Though Indiana State Police are involved in the investigation, additional details about the children’s deaths was not disclosed. WBIW reported that the Lawrence County Coroner’s Office is scheduled to perform the two autopsies.
