Morgan Bauer: Disturbing Details of Alleged Necrophilia, Dismemberment Revealed in Missing Teen’s Presumed Death

Suspects in connection with the disappearance and presumed death of 19-year-old Morgan Bauer were indicted Wednesday by a grand jury in Georgia.

The Rockdale Citizen reports that a Newton County grand jury indicted Jonathan Alexander Warren and Katelyn Goble in connection with Bauer’s death. Bauer’s remains have never been found.

As CrimeOnline previously reported, Warren was taken into custody in Los Angeles in August. He face charges of murder, aggravated assault and concealing death, all felonies. He also faces a misdemeanor charge of tampering with evidence.

Goble was arrested in Peoria, Illinois, on felony charges of concealing death and tampering with evidence. She’s also facing a murder charge in connection with the teen’s death.

The charges came as part of an investigation into the disappearance of Bauer, who was last seen in February 25, 2016, leaving an adult entertainment club in Gainesville, Georgia, where she worked as a dancer.

Investigators in late July searched a residence in Porterdale, about 80 miles away from Gainesville, looking for evidence linked to the case. The search was prompted after the discovery of new evidence.

According to Law&Crime, prosecutors allege both defendants murdered Bauer by strangulation, the basis for the felony murder charge, by wrapping “their hands around her neck.”

Authorities say after the killing, the suspects dismembered and burned Bauer to conceal evidence of the murder. The mutilation allegedly aimed to prevent the discovery of the remains.

Court documents indicate that Warren is also facing a necrophilia charge. Georgia law O.C.G.A. § 16-6-7 indicates that someone “commits the offense of necrophilia” when performing “any sexual act with a dead human body involving the sex organs of the one and the mouth, anus, penis, or vagina of the other.”

Both defendants being held at the Newton County jail without bond.
