Crime Stories with Nancy Grace: Joran van der Sloot to Reveal How Natalee Holloway Died in Court

Joran van der Sloot’s Alabama court appearance Wednesday could give Natalee Holloway’s family information they have been seeking since 2005.

The main suspect in Holloway’s disappearance is expected to plead guilty to charges of extorting and defrauding the teen’s mother.  It is not known what specific charges in the extortion case he will plead guilty to. A condition of the plea deal requires the Dutch national to reveal how Holloway died and how her body was disposed of.

Sentencing will also take place. Van der Sloot must finish his time in a Peruvian jail, before returning to serve out his U.S sentence.
