On the evening of August 15, Connor and Betty Bowman stay home and have drinks together.
The last drink Betty remembered having was a smoothie. The next morning Betty Bowman is sick. So sick she goes to the hospital where they admit her and treat her for what seems like food poisoning. Betty Bowman is 32 and healthy but over the next four days, her condition worsens and she dies.
When her husband, Connor Bowman, tries to have her cremated right away with no autopsy, alarm bells go off and police are called. It seems that Connor Bowman was researching a particular medication used to treat gout, and what would be the lethal amount for someone the size of Betty Bowman.
