A 3-year-old girl was shot and killed Saturday morning at a Florida extended stay hotel.
The Broward Sheriff’s Office said the shooting took place just after 8 a.m. at an Extended Stay America in Tamarac, WPLG reported.
They said the girl was accompanied by a woman but did not say if the woman was related to her.
According to WTVJ, investigators detained two occupants of a U-Haul truck about nine miles away in Laurderhill in connection with the shooting, but no arrests have been made.
