The family of an Illinois girl who vanished on December 4 released a surveillance video that shows her before her disappearance.
According to WMAQ, Brissa Romero, 17, went missing while on the way to a holiday work party at a Bowlero in Vernon Hills. Police said she was last seen near an intersection, and her phone last pinged near the bowling alley where the party took place.
Police said no one saw Romero at the holiday party. Though her vehicle remains unaccounted for, authorities said a license plate reader placed the car near the bowling alley at some point, WLS-TV reported.
Amid the ongoing search, Romero’s family has shared a video which reportedly shows her returning to her job in Schaumburg to retrieve her iPad. The family said it is the last video of Romero before she left for the party, according to WLS-TV.
Romero was described as being 5 feet tall and weighing 115 pounds. She reportedly drives a gray 2008 Nissan Rogue with an Illinois plate reading CZ64618.
Authorities asked anyone with information regarding this case should call Carpentersville police Sergeant Webb at 847-551-3481 or QuadCom Dispatch at 847-428-8784.
