An Iowa man reported missing nearly a month ago has been found dead in Missouri.
Shawn Kiger was initially reported missing in Winona, Missouri, in November 23. His truck was located in Johnson County, Iowa, four days later, the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office said.
The body was found in a wooded area in rural Shannon County, outside Winona, on December 14.
The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office said that Kyle Sebree, 32, and Heather McClendon, 41, have been charged with first-degree murder in the case. Additionally Sebree faces a kidnapping charge, while McClendon has also been charged with tampering with evidence.
Sebree and McClendon are being held without bond, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
