An Amber Alert was issued Sunday night for a 1-year-old baby believed abducted by her mother, who reportedly stabbed the child’s father and fled with the little girl.

Lakewood Police said Choice Walters has brown hair and eyes, WKYC said. The mother, 29-year-old ARiel Monae Walters, is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall and 180 pounds with brown hair and eyes.

The pair were last seen at Cove Park in Lakewood at about 2:30 Sunday morning to reports of a man being attacked. Officers found the 30-year-old victim when they arrived, and he was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.

Police said an arrest warrant for Walters charges her with attempted aggravated murder. They said they made contact with the suspect by telephone and could hear the child in the background, but Walters refused to cooperate.

They also said Walters does not have a car and generally travels by Uber.
