A toddler and a 44-year-old woman are dead and a 66-year-old man wounded in a shooting in Allentown, Pennsylvania Friday night.
Police arrived on the scene just before 9 p.m. and found the man, woman, and 1-year-old boy with serious gunshot wounds, WPVI reported. The Lehigh County Coroner said Saturday morning that the woman and the boy had died.
The victims have not yet been publicly identified, and no arrests have been made.
But a second shooting took place nearby minutes later, and police arrested 23-year-old Demitrius Bashir Campbell for the attempted murder of a man and a woman, who are expected to survive. That shooting is not believed to be connected to the deadly shooting or a third shooting that took place several hours later in Allentown.
In that incident, police found a man suffering from severe gunshot wounds, and two other men showed up at a hospital with gunshot wounds. All three are expected to survive, but no arrests have been made in that shooting.
