Missing NH Artists’s Car Found Abandoned with Backpack, Cellphone Inside

New Hampshire police are seeking public tips following the disappearance of a 31-year-old Barnstead woman.

According to the Barnstead Police Department, Ashley Turcotte was last seen at her Barnstead home on Thursday. Police later found her backpack and cell phone inside her abandoned car at Barnstead Town Hall.

“Ashley is an artist who always paints pumpkins for all of our town departments,” Barnstead police said.

Turcotte is described as a white female who stands 5 feet 5 inches tall with brown eyes and brown hair. She has scars on both arms, according to Boston 25 News. She was last seen wearing a dark long-sleeved shirt, dark pants, and a dark-colored winter coat.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is urged to contact Barnstead police at 603-269-8100.
