A missing Texas woman who was reportedly found dead in a bayou on Friday had injuries consistent with a homicide, according to the coroner’s office.
Tierra Horn, 18, disappeared on Tuesday, days before her body was discovered along the Buffalo Bayou in Houston. The Harris County Institute for Forensic Science said she died from “compression of the neck,” according to KTRK.
Horn’s sister, Rokeisha Calton, told the news outlet that Horn knew someone at an apartment that is near where her body was found. She also claimed Horn was seen in surveillance footage from the apartment before she died.
Despite this, no arrests have been made, and police have not publicly named any suspects.
Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to call the Houston Police Department’s Homicide Division at 713-308-3600.
