[Body Bags] Missing Mom Murder Trial: Blood Evidence Could Prove She’s Not Missing

When Connecticut mother-of-5 Jennifer Dulos suddenly vanished, the world stopped to look.

But, while the world was looking for the missing mom, her estranged husband, Fotis Dulos, and his girlfriend, Michelle Troconis, drove around town dropping off bags of trash in public trash bins. Troconis is currently on trial, charged with murder conspiracy and evidence tampering.

Fotis Dulos took his own life in 2020 following a murder charge.

This combination of booking photos released Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2020, by the Connecticut State Police shows Fotis Dulos, left, and his girlfriend Michelle Troconis. Dulos was arrested Tuesday and charged with murder of his estranged wife Jennifer Dulos, who went missing in May 2019. Troconis, also arrested Tuesday, was charged with conspiracy to commit murder. Investigators believe that Fotis killed Jennifer in her New Canaan garage after she had dropped her children off at school on May 24, 2019. Her remains have not been recovered, but prosecutors allege that investigators discovered bags of evidence discarded in numerous trash cans around Hartford.
