BREAKING: Washington Girl Ella Jones Found SAFE, Lured Out of State by Accused Online Predator

A missing 14-year-old Washington girl has been located safely and police say they have a suspect in custody.

According to the Mount Vernon Police Department, police located Ella Jones after narrowing down ride-share options in the area she was found in, which led them to a suspect named “Keith,” who’s accused of ordering a ride for himself and the victim to an address in South New Haven, Michigan.

Police subsequently located the teen at a property at Blue Star Memorial Highway, along with the suspect, identified as a 30-year-old male. He’s been taken into custody on numerous felony charges.

As CrimeOnline previously reported, Ella’s mother reported her missing on January 6 after the teen had been chatting with an older man on social media before her leaving.

Federal, state, and local law enforcement assisted in the search, along with private investigator Bill Garcia, of “Bill Garcia Investigative Services,” who helped on the case pro bono and during the investigation process.

The victim’s parents have been notified and are said to be “elated,” according to Mount Vernon police.
