New York police are searching for a suspect seen on surveillance video driving off in an SUV with a 5-year-old girl inside.

The little girl was dropped aff at a YMCA about 10 minutes later, and the stolen vehicle was found abandoned in the Bronx at about 10 p.m.

According to WPIX, the child’s mother had stepped into a market at about 7:15 p.m., only to see her vehicle traveling down the street when she returned. The surveillance video shows her running down the street in pursuit of her stolen SUV.

The little girl was unharmed and was reunited with her mother at the 103rd Precinct station.
