SEE IT: Verdict Reached Against Michelle Troconis in Missing Mom Jennifer Dulos Trial

A Connecticut jury has reached a verdict in the trial of Michelle Troconis, in connection with the disappearance and presumed death of New Canaan mother of five, Jennifer Farber Dulos.

A Stamford jury found Troconis, the former girlfriend of Jennifer’s estranged husband, Fotis Dulos, guilty Friday morning of several felonies, including:

  • Conspiracy to commit murder
  • Hindering prosecution
  • Tampering with physical evidence
  • Conspiracy to commit tampering with physical evidence

If the sentences run consecutively, Troconis faces up to 50 years in prison, according to Connecticut state law.

As CrimeOnline reported, investigators believe that Fotis killed Jennifer in her New Canaan garage after she had dropped her children off at school on May 24, 2019. Her remains have not been recovered, but prosecutors allege that investigators discovered bags of evidence discarded in numerous trash cans around Hartford.

Prosecutors said Troconis helped Fotis Dulos concoct a timeline of his whereabouts on the day Jennifer vanished, and then watched him put garbage bags with crime evidence into different trash bins.

Dulos was arrested Tuesday and charged with murder of his estranged wife Jennifer Dulos, who went missing in May 2019. Troconis, also arrested Tuesday, was charged with conspiracy to commit murder. Before her disappearance, Jennifer had become entangled in a contentious divorce and child custody battle with Fotis, who was allegedly dating Michelle Troconis in secret at the time.

Fotis was later charged with murdering Jennifer at her New Canaan, Connecticut, home, but he took his own life in January 2020, leaving Troconis to face the legal consequences alone.

Troconis denied all charges against her.

“I have no idea where Jennifer is, and that’s 100%,” Troconis previously said in an interrogation video, News 8 reports. “I just know that I went as the stupid girlfriend to help him out, because he told me, ‘Come and clean the house,’ and I did.”
