A California teenager was arrested on suspicion of murder early Sunday morning after a double stabbing at a Riverside party.
Riverside police said they were called to a home just before 12:30 a.m. and found two male teenagers with stab wounds. One was pronounced dead at the scene, while the second was hospitalized, the Press-Enterprise reported.
About 20 minutes later, paramedics were called to another home in the same neighborhood to treat a third male teen with a head injury. That teen was later arrested, Riverside Police Officer Ryan Railsback said.
Police did not release the teens’ ages or describe the circumstances that led to the stabbings, but KTTV reported that all three appeared to be in high school.
Railsback said there was no indication the stabbing was gang-related.
