Three people are dead and five more wounded after gunfire broke out at a late-night party in Arkansas.
A person identifed by police as “the suspect” is among the dead, Jonesboro Police said in a Facebook post.
The two slain victims, a man and a woman, and a woman who was wounded were all “known to the suspect,” police said.
Three other wounded victims “had no known connection to the suspect.” Police did not say if the fifth wounded victim had any connection with the suspect.
Police also did specify how the suspect died but implied they were shot. They did say “there is no active threat to the community.”
Jonesboro Police Chief Rick Elliott told KAIT the shooting, which happened at about 5 a.m., was the result of domestic violence.
No further information was made available.
