WWE President, COO Named as Unidentified ‘Corporate Officers’ in Sex Trafficking Lawsuit Against Vince McMahon

WWE’s president and chief operating officer are two unidentified “corporate officers” named in a sex trafficking lawsuit against former chairman Vince McMahan and former talent-relations executive John Laurinaitis.

Nick Khan, WWE’s president, and COO Brad Blum were key parts of a scheme in which plaintiff Janel Grant says she was hired “in a completely undefined role, except for the understanding that she remain a sexual slave to be used and trafficked by McMahon within the WWE,” Front Office Sports reports.

The two were not accused of sexual misconduct or violence, just facilitating and covering up the exploitation Grant describes in her lawsuit — filed in February — that led to McMahon’s resignation in January.

Among other things, the lawsuit alleges that McMahon defecated on her head, sex trafficked her to other executives, and abused her with sex toys he named after WWE wrestlers, as CrimeOnline reported.

Grant’s attorney confirmed to Front Office Sports that Khan and Blue were “Corporate Officer No. 1” and “Corporate Officer No. 2” in the lawsuit. For its part, WWE denied the two executives “were aware of any allegation by Ms. Grant that she was the victim of abuse or unwanted physical contact.”

Ultimately, the suit says, Khan and Blum were part of a non-disclosure agreement Grant signed with McMahon. The lawsuit was filed after he paid only $1 million of the $3 million he had agreed to pay under the NDA.

Front Office Sports also identified two other officers listed in the lawsuit. Corporate Office No. 3 is McMahon’s daughter, Stephanie McMahon, who is mentioned once as knowing “of other instances of McMahon engaging in inappropriate sexual conduct.” Corporate Officer No. 4 is Brian Nurse, former head of WWE’s legal department, who hired Grant in 2019, reportedly on McMahon’s orders.
