Police in Georgia are asking for public assistance in locating a 46-year-old Caroll County woman reported missing, following the death of her husband.
According to the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office, Samantha Tolbert’s family fears for her safety after her husband, Jerimmie, shot himself on March 7 while at their home off Tyus Carrollton Road. Responding deputies discovered him deceased, confirmed to be from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
FOX 5 Atlanta reports Tolbert was reported missing following the discovery. Family members do not believe she left in a car, adding that she does not have her cell phone with her. She’s also known to frequent Randolph County, Alabama.
Court records indicate that the pair had a tumultuous relationship, with a history of domestic violence. The last report was filed in November 2022.
Tolbert is described as a white female who stands 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs around 165 pounds. She has naturally red hair but dyes it blonde hair.
