Pennsy Man Beats Postal Clerk Unconscious Because His Package Didn’t Arrive

A Pennsylvania man was jailed Monday after he jumped over a post office counter and pummeled a postal employee unconscious because his package had not been delivered.

Susquehanna Regional Police officers were called to the Marietta Post Office just before 1 p.m. for a postal worker lying behind the counter bleeding, WHP reported.

They found the dazed and confused victim, who told them the suspect jumped over the counter and punched them in teh face several times, knocking them unconscious. The suspect was angry because he did not receive a package he thought he should have received by now, the victim said.

The suspect, identified as 27-year-old James Moore, was still on the scene when the officers arrived, and he was arrested without incident.

Court records show Moore was still in jail on Tuesday after not paying a $200,000 bail. He is charged with aggravated assault.
