On Thursday, Corpus Christi police in Texas provided a detailed timeline of the disappearance of Caleb Harris, a 21-year-old Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi student who vanished nearly four weeks ago.
March 3
According to CCPD, Harris played video games with his two roommates at their off-campus apartment, at the Cottages, off Ennis Joslin Road near S. Padre Island Drive. Harris’ friend from Colorado was also at the apartment, visiting.

Footage from a Ring doorbell camera at a neighboring apartment captured Harris, his friend, and one of Harris’ roommates in the parking lot of the apartment complex at around 12:30 a.m. They were taking a puppy, owned by the girlfriend of one of Harris’ roommates, outside for a walk.
CCPD stated that “nothing seemed unusual,” and the roommates returned to the apartment.
At around 2:20 a.m., one of the roommates went to bed, while Harris said he planned to make an Uber Eats order to take to school on Monday. Harris’ father told CrimeOnline that he ordered two Lunchables and a Red Bull drink.
At around 2:44 a.m., Harris takes the dog out again and is seen “walking the puppy through what appears to be the apartment complex parking lot.”
At 3:03 p.m., Harris sends a Snapchat message to his friend in San Antonio. Police said Harris took a photo by “a small bridge over a drainage ditch on the 1900 block of Ennis Joslin, within a few hundred feet of the entrance to his apartment complex.”
At 3:20 a.m., the Uber Eats order arrives but Harris, whose phone last pinged in the area at 3:12 a.m., is not there. The order was left at his apartment door and was still there the following morning at 11 a.m. when his roommates noticed it.
Harris had no shoes on when he disappeared and left without his wallet and keys.
“Investigators have scoured the surrounding area of Caleb’s last known location for surveillance video, checking well over fifty businesses and private residences,” CCPD said.
“Thus far, investigators have retrieved video from twenty-seven different locations, including city owned traffic cameras, but continue to search for additional sources. Detectives have written 16 search electronic search warrants, submitted over 70 preservation requests, and issued 14 subpoenas for electronic data related to this investigation.
“Forensic Computer Examiners have already reviewed over 600 GB of electronic data and continue to pour over data as it arrives on an almost daily basis.”
Harris’ parents announced a $25,000 reward for information that leads to his safe return. To be eligible for that reward, tipsters must share what they know by March 31.
