On Wednesday, police said a 15-year-old Massachusetts student has been missing for five days, urging the public to assist in locating her.
According to Boston police, Jayla Santiago, of Dorchester, was last seen Friday morning near Norwell Street and Athelwold Street in Boston. She failed to attend school that day, at Tech Academy and hasn’t been seen since.

Jayla is described as a Hispanic female with black, braided hair and green/hazel eyes. She stands 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs around 150 pounds. She was last seen wearing a black puffy jacket, red-and-black checkered pants, and carrying a black purse.
