Developing: Missing 3-Year-Old South Carolina Tot Found Dead in Hot Car

A 3-year-old South Carolina boy reported missing Friday afternoon has passed away following a hot car incident in Richland County.

According to the Richland County Sheriff’s Department, deputies were dispatched to the 1000 block of Parliament Lake Drive at around 1 p.m. Friday, in connection with a missing boy.

They found the child inside a car unresponsive and rushed him to the hospital where he subsequently passed away. His identity at this time is disclosed while the sheriff’s department continues its investigation.
