BOLO: Missing Kansas Mother and Infant Son Could Be in Danger

Kansas police are seeking tips on missing a mother and her infant son who may be in danger, according to the Great Bend Police Department.

Loved ones reported 32-year-old Crystal M. Demoss and her baby missing on May 5 from the Great Bend area after Demoss was last seen May 2. The Great Bend Post reports that Police Chief Steve Haulmark confirmed earlier this week they are possibly in danger.

“Several locations were searched and no contact has been made with DEMOSS or her infant son,” GBPD wrote on a missing persons flyer.

Police located Demoss’ vehicle at the home of the child’s father, identified as 25-year-old Tyler Epp. Police subsequently arrested him on unrelated charges that included suspicion of criminal use of weapons and possession of marijuana.

“It’s kind of a strange deal. An individual who’s identified in the investigation is a previously convicted felon. He was arrested for a couple of things to include being in possession of a firearm,” Haulmark said.

Crystal is described as standing 5 feet, 3 inches tall and weighing around 180 pounds. She has brown eyes and brown hair.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts is urged to contact GBPD at 620-732-1300 or dial 911. You can also submit tips online at p3tips.com.
