An undercover investigation in Tennessee ended with the arrest of a Grand Junction man on multiple charges of sexual abuse of a minor.
State agents with the Internet Crimes Against Children squad launched an investigation on April 15 after learning of “thousands of files of child sexual abuse material” distributed from an address in Grand Junction, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said.
On May 10, agents executed a search warrant at the address with additional support by Homeland Security Investigations and the Hardeman and Madison County Sheriff’s Offices, seizing multiple devices.
After the search, they arrested 69-year-old Charles Vinyard, charging him with 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor and 10 counts of aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor.
