Police in Georgia say they’ve arrested a ride share driver on charges of rape and burglary.
According to Sandy Springs police, Le’Myrious Monaye Dawson dropped a woman off at her home at about 2:30 a.m. on May 5, then broke into her home, raped her, and stole several items, WSB reported.
Investigators tracked himto the West End transit station the next day and arrested him. They found several items belonging to the victim in his car.
Police said they were now reaching out to other local departments to see if there are similar cases.
Dawson has been charged with theft by taking, burglary, battery, and rape. According to jail records, he is still behind bars.
