FOUND SAFE: Missing Child Alert Issued for 9-Year-Old Florida Girl

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement canceled an alert for a 9-year-old girl on Thursday, according to ABC Tampa Bay.

Florida police issued a Missing Child Alert for a 9-year-old girl last seen in the Jacksonville area on May 13.

According to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Layla Jenkins was last seen in the 5400 block of 110th Street in Jacksonville, possibly in the company of Nikita Adside. Police said Adside has a tattoo that reads, “Layla,” on her throat.

News Channel 8 reports that the pair might be in the “1800 block of Myrtle Avenue or the Harts Road and Dunn Avenue area in Jacksonville.”

Layla is described as a Black female who stands 4 feet, 10 inches tall and weighs around 70 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes. Adside is described as a Black female who stands 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs around 120 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes.
