A fisherman reported to police he’d seen a body in the water in Windsor, Vermont, at about 4:30 p.m., and Kexin Cai’s body was recovered about an hour later, WVNY reported.

Investigators said they don’t believe foul play was involved.

Cai, 25, was last seen leaving her home in West Lebanonm New Hampshire, on Wednesday, as CrimeOnline reported. She is believed to have left her home on her silver and white e-bike with “Fatboy” tires, a thick frame, and heavy-duty black metal racks on the front and back.

Police told WVNY they found security video of Cai traveling south on NH Route 10, followed by a sighting of her bike in the Wilder Dam area.
