A suspect killed a man and a woman inside a Cleveland home Wednesday and then held police at bay for 15 hours before he killed himself.
The suspect, 57-year-old Norris Richardson, called 911 at about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and told dispatchers he had critically injured two people and threatened suicide, WOIO reported.
A SWAT team made entry into the house and found Ritchie Welch, 51, and Regina Young-Fellows, 65, dead inside, but Richardson refused to surrender.
Police said they tried to negotiate his surrender for hours before he killed himself Wednesday morning, WJW said.
Investigators have not said how the suspect and the victims were connected or what caused the incident or how any of the three died.
