Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Hit With Another Sexual Assault Lawsuit

On Thursday, a lawsuit was filed in New York accusing producer Sean “Diddy” Combs of sexually assaulting a woman decades earlier.

April Lampros said in the lawsuit that she was a student at New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology when she met Combs in 1994. Lampros accused Combs in the lawsuit of sexually assaulting her on four instances between the mid-1990s and the early 2000s, according to CNN.

Lampros claimed Combs promised to mentor her and connect her with executives in the fashion industry. Instead, Combs allegedly forced her to drink before raping her in a hotel room. Lampros recalled another instance in which Combs forced her to perform oral sex on her in a parking garage while a parking attendant watched, according to CNN.

“She felt that if she disobeyed him, he would take away her dreams of pursuing a career in his world. Mr. Combs would also threaten to blacklist her in the industry if she tried to mess with him in any way,” the lawsuit stated. “Ms. Lampros’ dreams and everything she’s been working hard for were in the palm of his hands.”

In addition to Combs, Lampros’ lawsuit lists Bad Boy Records, Arista Records, and Sony Music Entertainment as defendants. Lampros was an intern at Arista Records at the time of one of the alleged assaults.

CNN reported that this is the eighth lawsuit in which Combs has been accused of committing or facilitating sexual abuse.

Last week, surveillance footage surfaced reportedly showing producer Sean “Diddy” Combs attacking his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura at a California hotel in 2016. The footage apparently showed Combs chasing down Ventura in a hotel hallway before striking and kicking her and dragging her by the hair.

Combs was reportedly also filmed attacking Ventura as he used a hotel phone in the hallway. He can be seen pushing Ventura into a corner before sitting in a chair, grabbing an item off a table, and throwing it at her.

Days after the footage went public, Combs took to social media to apologize for his actions.

In March, federal authorities raided Combs’ homes in Holmby Hills, California, and Miami. Reports indicated that the raid was connected to an ongoing sex trafficking investigation.

The reported raids also occurred four months after Ventura accused him of sex trafficking and abuse. In a multimillion-dollar lawsuit, she alleged that Combs drugged her and forced her to have sex with other men. The pair settled the lawsuit a day after its filing.

Two more accusers came forward a week after Cassie. One of the women claimed Combs drugged and raped her at Syracuse University in New York in 1991. Combs denied those allegations before a third accuser, named Liza Gardner, levied similar allegations against him.

In that case, Gardner claimed Combs and singer-songwriter Aaron Hall drugged and raped her and a friend following an Uptown Records event in 1990. Gardner said she was 16 at the time of the incident. She also accused Combs of choking her a day after the assault.

Combs has repeatedly denied allegations of sexual assault. He has not been formally charged with any crimes.
