Investigators in Mooresville, Indiana, have uncovered new leads in the case of a missing 5-year-old boy.
Steven Bryan, the subject of a Silver Alert in August 2022 when he was 3, was last seen at a home on Elderberry Court in Mooresville Mooresville on June 9, 2022, according to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. Authorities said at the time, they believed he was with his mother, Deborah Bryan, and her boyfriend, Caleb Blevins.
Steven vanished when his biological father was supposed to visit him, and a warrant was subsequently issued for Deborah Bryan’s arrest for interference with custody.
FOX 59 reports that Chief Kerry Buckner with the Mooresville Metropolitan Police Department announced new leads in the case but didn’t divulge details.
“We don’t have a bunch of cases sitting around, waiting to be working,” Buckner said. “[We are] actively working on this case. It is not cold. It is still being worked on.”

In 2023, Mooresville Sgt. Brock Chipman said the Bryan and Blevins could still be in Indiana, adding that the U.S. Marshals Service is assisting.
“We have exhausted all efforts to try and find them. We’ve checked cameras. We have other means that we checked and we are constantly checking. We have different devices in place,” Chipman said.
“We just have to believe that the individual is potentially in danger or could be in danger, and, right now, we have nothing that says that so we can’t list them as an Amber Alert missing child.”
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at (317) 262-TIPS (8477).
