Actor Charged With Stabbing Makeup Artist Ex-Girlfriend More Than 20 Times

A minor actor was arrested this week and charged with stabbing his ex-girlfriend more than 20 times at her home in Los Angeles.

An arrest warrant for Nick Pasqual, 34, was issued on May 24, a day after the attack on special effects make-up artist Allie Shehorn, 35, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office said. He was captured this week at the border crossing checkpoint from Texas into Mexico in Sierra Blanca.

The DA’s office didn’t name Shehorn, but KTLA reported that the brutal attack took place on May 23, just days after Shehorn had filed a restraining order against Pasqual. Shehorn’s surrogate mother, Christine White, found her after the attack.

“I found her and I had to go into the bedroom where it happened,” she said. “That wasn’t a pretty sight.”

Shehorn had cuts to the neck and on her arms and abdomen and has had multiple surgeries since the attack.

Shehorn is known for her work on such films as “Rebel Moon,” “Mean Girls” and “Babylon.”

Pasqual has appeared in such shows as “How I Met Your Mother” and “America’s Most Wanted.” He is charged with one count of attempted murder; one count of first-degree residential burglary with person present; and one count of injuring a spouse, cohabitant, fiancé, boyfriend, girlfriend or child’s parent, the DA’s office said. He faces life in prison if convicted and is awaiting extradition from Texas.
