A Kentucky woman has been arrested after an infant’s body was reportedly discovered in a restaurant toilet on Wednesday.

Bowling Green police responded to an IHOP after someone called 911 about a bleeding woman in a bathroom who possibly miscarried. Officers discovered the baby deceased in a toilet before locating Shaniqua Caldwell, 35, in the parking lot of a Red Roof Inn, according to the Bowling Green Daily News.

The 911 caller and other witnesses claimed the woman tried to flush the baby down the toilet. Caldwell allegedly admitted to being at the IHOP but denied being pregnant.

According to police, Caldwell went on to say that she had not had sex in six years and she is related to Denzel Washington and Michael Jordan. Though she denied medical treatment, officers determined she posed a danger to herself and took her into custody for a mental health evaluation, the Bowling Green Daily News reported.

Caldwell is charged with concealing the birth of an infant. It remains unclear how her alleged baby died as an autopsy is pending. Additional charges could be filed depending on the autopsy results.
