A stray bullet hit an 84-year-old woman sitting in her walker on a New York corner Monday night.

Police found around 20 shell casings on the scene when they responded shortly before 7 p.m., WABC reported.

The woman was shot in the arm and was taken to Kings County Hospital, where she is recovering

Witnesses told the station the Brooklyn shooting may have been a shootout between two groups of people. Police said the suspect fled on foot.
