UPDATE: No Foul Play Suspected in Death of Navy Vet Found in Creek After 911 Call About Being Chased by a ‘Racist’

On Monday, Texas officials officially identified a body found in a park on Friday as a Missouri man who vanished days earlier.

KSAT reported that Jarvis McIntyre’s body was discovered in a creek bed at John James Park in San Antonio, Texas, on June 14. The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office said an initial autopsy did not ascertain a cause or manner of death, but foul play is not suspected.

McIntyre was last seen running through the park on June 8. According to reports, the same day McIntyre vanished at the park, someone called 911 claiming they were being chased by a “racist” wielding a rifle.

WOAI reported that officers responded to the initial 911 call but could not find the caller or witnesses.

Before his body was located, McIntyre’s car and belongings were discovered a block from the park.

San Antonio police said a toxicology report is pending.
