An investigation is underway in Ohio after a body was reportedly discovered in a trash can on Monday.

According to WXIX, a woman called Middletown police regarding the dead body — which was located in a trash can in an alleyway. It is unclear how long the body was there before it was discovered, but officials said it was decomposed.

As of Wednesday, the body has not been identified. Officials are also working to determine how the person died.
