Cops Release Video of ‘Person of Interest’ in Murder of Woman Found Dead in Abandoned Home

Police have released a video of a person of interest believed connected to the murder of a Texas woman found dead in an abandoned home in Austin last month.

Austin Police responded to a call about the discovery of a body at about 4 p.m. on June 21 and found Alyssa Ann Rivera, 34, dead.

Investigators said they believed Rivera was killed in the abandoned home “by an unknown suspect.”

On Wednesday, police released the video showing two people walking down a street. They provided no further information about the video, which included two clips.

Anyone with any information should contact the Austin Police Department at 512-974-TIPS or submit a tip anonymously through the Capital Area Crime Stoppers Program at austincrimestoppers.org or by calling 512-472-8477. A reward up to $1,000 may be available for any information that leads to an arrest.
