An Ohio boy was reportedly killed last month when he was attacked by at least one of his family’s dogs.
Jaxson Dvorak, 6, was killed on July 3 at his Lorain home. Lorain police lieutenant Jacob Morris said multiple dogs attacked Dvorak, according to Cleveland.com.
The dogs were reportedly mixed breed and belonged to Dvorak’s family. The Friendship Animal Protection League in Elyria has possession of the dogs, Cleveland.com reported.
As of Wednesday, no charges have been filed, as the investigation is ongoing.
“My heart is shattered,” Dvorak’s mother said on GoFundMe. “My world has collapsed. I feel like I’m in a really bad nightmare, and I’m trying to wake myself up, but it’s not working.”
