A Rhode Island man has been charged with murder for intentionally ramming another man with his car.

Andrew M. Martin, 37, and Michael Lefebvre, 31, were in an “ongoing dispute over domestic relationships” when Martin slammed into  Lefebvre late in the evening on July 1, Woonsocket Police Chief Thomas Oates told WPRI.

Lefebvre died at Rhode Island Hospital several days later, Woonsocket Police said.

Martin drove away from the scene, but police later located his vehicle.

In addition to murder, Martin is charged with felony assault and battery, assault with intent to commit specified felonies, driving to endanger resulting in death, and driving without a license.

He was arraigned on Wednesday and ordered held without bond. His next court appearance is on July 19.
