The arrest warrant for Melchionne says that police launched an investigation after an anonymous caller told them he found inappropriate messages sent on Melchionne’s phone to a student when he borrowed her phone.

That caller later sent police screenshot of the messages, which included explicit photos and money transactions.

Police identified the boy and eventually interviewed him. He confirmed the messages and said he first began interacting with Melchionne in 2023 when he was in 7th grade. He said he met with Melchionne in her office, with the blind closed, and that she gave him “lap dances” and performed oral sex on him.

He said the encounters stopped when he transferred to another school but that he still communicated with her afterwared.

Melchionne’s attorney, Mark Sherman, told The Hour that the charges “are just accusations” and that his client is “a devoted wife and mother who has dedicated over 20 years to her profession.

Melchionne was given a $500,000 bond and has since been released from jail.
