A 3-year-old boy who vanished from a Florida resort on Thursday has been found dead, officials said.

Rakim Akbari was last seen near the Sheraton Vistana Resort Villas, near Disney World. Akbari, who has autism, was found deceased in a body of water at the resort, according to WESH.

Akbari reportedly vanished without socks or shoes.

An investigation is underway.
