Four members of an Uzbeki family, including two women and two children, were stabbed and killed Friday night at their home in Brooklyn, allegedly by the son of one of the slain women.
Police said 56-year-old Fayzieva Mavlyuda, 27-year-old Maftuna Khakimova, and her two children — Kamila Shavkatova, 5, and Timur Shavkatov, 4 — were found dead when they arrived at the Bensonhurst apartment, responding to a call about a domestic disturbance, WCBS reported.
A 24-year-old man, believed to be Mavlyuda’s son, was taken into custody, but no charges have been filed.
Family members said the man’s brother, and the father of the two children, found the bodies.
Neighbors told the station that the family had lived in the apartment for about 10 years.
Police have not speculated on a motive for the murders.
