Teen Shot Dead in Maryland Mall

A 17-year-old Maryland boy was shot and killed Saturday evening in the food court of a suburban Baltimore-Washington mall.

Howard County Police identified the victim as Angelo Little and said a reward of up to $5,000 had been offered for information leading to an arrest.

Police said they were called to the Mall in Columbia just after 6 p.m. and found Little dead on the scene. Investigators believe little was targeted, and the suspect fled after the shooting.

Howard County police spokesperson Sherry Llewellyn told WBAL that investigators believe “there was an altercation between two people  and “not something that our investigators believe was a random incident.”

Authorities evacuated mall after the shooting and said it was fully cleared by 9 p.m., police said.
