Police in North Carolina are investigating after a 19-year-old woman was found shot to death on a picnic table at a Greensboro park.
Jakala Marie Goode was pronounced dead at the scene, the Greensboro Police Department said.
Officers were called to the scene at about 7:30 p.m. by a caller who reported hearing what they thought were fireworks about an hour before. Upon further inspection, however, the caller found Goode not breathing on the table under a tent.
