Missing: 8-Year-Old Louisiana Girl Taken by Non-Custodial Mom, Needs Medication

Louisiana State Police have issued an Endangered/Missing Child Advisory for an 8-year-old girl believed taken by her biological mother in New Orleans.

Alessandra Leonor Bruno was last seen at the Rock-N-Sake Sushi Bar in New Orleans on Wednesday at about 7 p.m., police said.

She is described as 4 feet 2 inches tall and 45 pounds with long, curly brown hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing a white, flowered shirt and hazel eyes.

Her noncustodial mother, 36-year-old Alejandra Gutierrez, is believed to have taken the girl and is traveling with her and another daughter, Sofia. Gutierrez is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall and 125 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. State police did not provide a description or age for Sofia.

Gutierrez is believed to be driving a 2023 dark gray or black Lexus RX 350 with Louisiana license plate 527GTG.

State police said that Alessandra has a medical condition and needs medication that her mother does not have. They also said Gutierrez has abducted Alessandra in the past.
