A kidnapping suspect who escaped custody of Ohio police in June was spotted on Friday after he kidnapped the same woman again.
Grove City Police told WBNS that the woman, said to be Quinntel Bagley’s ex-girlfriend, said he took her from her home and drove her to west Columbus, where she was able to get away from him safely and call police. She said he was wearing dark clothing and had a mask covering part of his face.
“You should treat him as armed and dangerous,” Grove City Police Lt. Jason Stern said. “We are asking for any help anyone can offer if you see him call us right away, call 911.”
The ex-girlfriend was initially reported missing early in the morning on June 13, according to WCHS. Her car was later found abandoned, and they launched a search for her and Bagley, 38. About three hours later, they found the woman at a gas station. Bagley was arrested a short time later.
He escaped custody early that afternoon when officers took him to a hospital for an evalutation. While leaving the hospital, he bolted from the officers and fled into nearby woods.
Later, he broke into a home and stole a car. That car was later found abandoned later in the afternoon. That was the last time Bagley was seen until Friday.
Grove City Police said that the US Marshals Service has joined the hunt for Bagley and is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to his capture. Grove City Mayor Richard L. “Ike” Stage added an additional $5,000 to the reward.
He is wanted for aggravated burlary, aggravated robbery, fleeing, parole violation for kidnapping, and failure to register as a sex offender.
