Idaho authorities announced on Tuesday that a 5-year-old boy who disappeared on Monday has been found dead.
Matthew Glynn was found dead a half-mile from his Boise home where he vanished. Details are scarce, but authorities do not suspect foul play.
KTVB reported that Matthew Glynn wandered from his Boise home at 5:45 p.m. Police do not believe he was abducted, nor do they suspect he is in any nearby waterways.
Reports indicated that Glynn is nonverbal and autistic. Boise police noted that he may make noises to draw attention to himself.
Glynn was described as being 2 feet, 5 inches tall and weighing 30 pounds. He was last seen wearing Batman pajamas with a yellow collar. Additionally, he likely vanished without shoes.
Authorities are expected to provide an update on this case on Tuesday. Anyone with information regarding Glynn’s whereabouts should call the Ada County Dispatch at 208-377-6790.
