Police in Louisiana are searching for a missing woman who is a witness in a case that was set to go to trial next week.
According to WBRZ, Jovan Johnson, 40, was last seen at her job in LaPlace on Wednesday. St. John Parish police said they believe Johnson may be in danger as she is the witness in a criminal case scheduled for trial on Monday.
Officials have not disclosed the nature of the case that may be at the center of Johnson’s disappearance.
WBRZ reported that Johnson was last seen wearing maroon nurse scrubs.
