Disney Channel actress Skai Jackson was reportedly arrested last week in California for a domestic violence incident involving her boyfriend.

Los Angeles police told Page Six that security at the Universal CityWalk in Hollywood called the police on August 9 after Jackson, 22, and her boyfriend started fighting. Guards reportedly detained the couple after seeing Jackson push her boyfriend more than once.

According to TMZ, police reviewed surveillance footage showing Jackson pushing her boyfriend. Sources told the tabloid that Jackson and her boyfriend denied the physical altercation had occurred — and told officers they were engaged and expecting a child.

Jackson was cited for misdemeanor domestic battery. She was released from custody a few hours later.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office will determine if charges are formally filed in this case. Jackson’s representatives have not yet commented on the incident.
